Interactive Site Lets You Fly Around a Virtual Super Nintendo World

Universal's Studio Japan's Nintendo-themed expansion, Super Nintendo World, will be opening on February 4th. You can take an early look around the attraction's new website.

Originally due to open this past summer, Super Nintendo World is an offshoot of the family park, concentrated on the Super Mario Bros. franchise and its many characters. The website shows a digital version of the park bit by bit, with stops on major attractions like Bowser's Castle or Yoshi's Island.

The site also offers details on the three eateries, with select menus for each. There's Mushroom Pizza Bowls and Pirahna  Plant Caprese at Kinopio Café, novelty popcorn buckets at Pit Stop Popcorn and Koopa Troopa shells (actually cheesy yakisoba calzones) at Yoshi's Snack Island.

The site lets you browse around a conveyor belt of souvenirs, allows you to read the regulations on the Mario Kart ride and previews the attraction's interactive games and adventures.

While international travel to Japan is still restricted, Super Nintendo World will be available once flights open again. If your odds on traveling to Japan are looking low for you, then no worries, by 2023 a US Super Nintendo World will be coming to Universal's Epic Universe theme park in Orlando.
